Vintage ashtrays, mugs, cups, dishes, glasses, and other small pieces from hotels, restaurants, airlines, clubs, and travels along the way. Collected for their graphics, provenance, and the way an ordinary object can preserve a surprising amount of atmosphere. Some were souvenirs, some were simply meant to be used, and most are more interesting now than they ever were when new.
